I just got a letter from the famous Dick Muse from New Hampshire. (Aka, "musehobo" on eBay.) He asks for help on identifying two mystery depots. I figured the easiest way to solve these two is to make a web page so a few of us can work on this one.

He writes,

Steve,

I came across 2 negatives together of these two stations. One appears
to be definitely B&A.

Could you identify them for me, if possible, and e-mail me? They seem
to elude me.

Thanks,
Dick Muse

And of course, I do find this intriguing. Right off, the second one looks like a B&A depot indeed. The "eye" dormer, derivative of the Richardson style makes me think that.

The first one reminds me of Belchertown on my favorite line, the Central Mass. But I have checked, and it isn't.

If anyone has any info, please e-mail me at steve@marlboronissan.com . I will keep this page updated to let you know what we find out. (I will ask Musehobo if there are any clues to be gleaned from him.)

Update: He just e-mailed me with a GREAT clue....

"The only thing I can say about the station negatives is that they are together, not separate as if one was taken before or after the other."

So these were taken in SEQUENCE. One after the other. Same day, not too far away from each other. Hmmmmm. This is interesting.
