Brandeis-Roberts?

What's the story with this depot, currently standing at Brandeis-Roberts, Massachusetts?  (As of June, 2008.) How old is it? Was it used by the B&M?

I took a trip with my daughter into Boston on the MBTA Fitchburg  Line commuter rail, (nee Fitchburg RR, then Boston and Maine Fitchburg Branch after 1900), and of course was all interested in locating any extant depots visible from the train. The only good shot I managed was one of Kendall Green- or so I thought.

On the return trip from Boston we stopped at "Brandeis-Roberts", which I know to be a stop formerly known as "Roberts", and then "Roberts - Brandeis University".

I looked out the window and saw what at first appeared to be a very recent replacement shelter. I thought it was neat that it was freshly painted in Cream and Maroon, albeit a reversed scheme. (The trim should be maroon, and the rest of the building cream, not the other way around as someone painted it.)

Just as the train was pulling out of the station, I snapped this photo. Alas, the flash went off, which accounts for the white splotchy reflections at left, and by the time I switched the flash off, we had moved on. The chance was lost. No matter, this shot will do for now.

Here's the thing. I was just looking at the photo, and then I saw this one on my pal Gary Lapointe's site, "Railroad Depots of Massachusetts".

Notice the small buildings to the right of the original Roberts depot. Was one of them the one in my photo? No, they both are larger and have more of a roof.

OR, (and I like this theory a lot), is the depot in my photo actually a McGuinnes-era replacement shelter from the 1950s? It looks to be about right for that. It's not the sort of thing they build today at all. (Today they would just erect a plexiglas shelter or just a wooden awning over a platform.)
